These terms govern your use of PetCare at petcareapp.org. By creating an account you accept them.
What PetCare is
A record-keeping tool. It stores the vaccinations, medications, illnesses, weights and meals you enter, and reminds you when something you recorded falls due. It is a notebook, not a clinician.
It is not veterinary advice
Nothing in PetCare is veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment — including the symptom checker, which produces general information from the words you type and knows nothing about your animal. Always consult a vet, and never delay seeking help because of something this app showed you.
Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. They depend on what you entered being correct, on notification permission, and on your device — and on the web they do not exist at all. Do not rely on PetCare as the only thing telling you a vaccination is due.
Your account

Use an email address you control, and confirm it.

Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account per person, and do not impersonate anyone.
Your content
Your records, photographs and posts remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content and show it back to you, and for community posts to show it to other signed-in users. You confirm you have the right to what you upload, photographs in particular.
Community rules
The forum is shared with every signed-in user. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or harassing, anyone else’s personal information, spam, or content you have no right to share.
Report anything that breaks these rules with the flag control on the post. There is no active moderation team: reports are reviewed when we can, not immediately.
Availability
PetCare is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free, or that reminders will always arrive. If we ever shut the service down we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve your records.
Cost
PetCare is currently free. Some features are marked Premium; no payment is taken and no card details are collected. If paid plans are introduced we will say so clearly first.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for harm to an animal’s health, decisions made in reliance on the app, lost or corrupted data, or reminders that arrive late or not at all. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you take one thing from this document: keep your own record of anything that matters, and talk to your vet.
Ending it
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. That removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy, and it cannot be undone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU this does not remove protections you have under your own local law.
